Nostalgia… and Philosophy Amazing Grace.

I wore Philosophy’s Amazing Grace years ago, when it had first came out.  I was living in Boston and a friend got it for me for my birthday.  I’ll forever associate the scent with my friends in Boston, and the memories from my first apartment.  I was particularly obsessed with the olive oil body scrub – one of the best I’ve ever tried, but (wrongfully!) discontinued.

During a routine trip to Sephora today (to buy self-tanner, more on that later as I have a new favorite!) I picked up the bottle and was instantly transported back in time.  Feeling nostalgic, I purchased a roller ball.  (Isn’t the power of fragrance incredible?)

Now, I never buy perfume (I spent eight years working in the beauty industry and still have bins full of beauty products…)  but just couldn’t resist.  I had forgotten how much I love the scent.  It’s clean, feminine and light, and one of my absolute favorites.
