Can you believe that it’s New Year’s Eve?!? Every year, the boyfriend and I have a party. This was his tradition, and has become mine. It’s a big mix of our friends… old and new, from near and far (this year, the furthest travelers came from Northern Ireland!) It’s always so much fun… and this year, we went with a Great Gatsby theme. I’ve been busy DIY’ing my boyfriend shoes (painted wing-tips,) and my hairpiece. Photos to come… I’m wearing an old dress from the twenties that I found in my parents’ attic!

It goes without saying, but New Year’s Eve is a favorite of mine. After all, it’s the most appropriate time of year for sequins and sparkle… I love a good excuse to get dressed up. Whatever you are doing, I hope your night is full of sparkle, champagne, happy memories with friends and family, and of course… a midnight make-out! Cheers!
