I’m a little late to the party on this trend, but ever since I saw Claire Danes’ fabulous neon pink Calvin Klein dress at the Golden Globes, I’ve had a hankering for something neon.
Two of my favorite blogs, Moosette and BonBon Rose Girls have already beat me to the punch… but here are my neon picks! Whether you go all out with the Michael Kors chartreuse dress, or stick to just accessorizing your beauty implements (tweezers,) you can’t go wrong.
As for me, I’ve love the little accents. The Alexis Bittar pyramid studs and Marc Jacobs bracelet are both right up my alley. The neon yellow Manolo Blahnik heels are also pretty amazing and they are marked down from $665 to $133.) I hit up my hardware store this week for some neon cords & threads (future DIY spoiler alert!) Can’t wait to see what I can craft up…
Whatever you choose to do, keep the rest of your outfit nice and simple. I personally think neon tones look best paired with neutrals and earth hues (think camel & khaki tones) as opposed to black. Chartreuse + black (in my opinion) = bumble bee.
