A couple weeks ago, my friend Briony was in town; visiting from the UK. We’ve been friends for ages now and she is one of my favorite bloggers (but also, her Instagram is positively dreamy)! We met up at Morandi in the West Village for girl talk, their delicious meatballs (highly recommend if you go!), and a much-needed glass of wine. She was wearing this dress from Needle & Thread (a designer we had both obsessed over the last time I saw her – shopping at Liberty while I was visiting London). I loved it on her – she’d paired it with lots of necklaces and a cute belt. And so I played copycat. Sorry, not sorry.
PS – I splurged on the Jimmy Choo pumps I’d been stalking for the past month. I tried out so many similar options but at the end of the day I couldn’t find a pair that were just as good. I love them so much. They’re literally the perfect block heel pump.

The dress is so cute and pretty!
Thanks so much, Marta!
Such a lovely dress! You look amazing in it!
xx
Thank you Alina! xo
Love pink and black together – my favorite combo! Those heels are really nice too, I like that the block isn’t too thick. Wish they made them a little shorter so I could wear them!
Thanks Jackie! I know, I wish these were a little bit shorter too… I struggled, trying to find a pair that was a couple hundred dollars less expensive and slightly shorter but could not find anything I liked! Everything was either too frumpy, or not well made (like the $50-100 pairs). So I ended up getting these, unsure if I’d keep them. Luckily they are actually pretty comfy!
Always looking so adorable, romantic, ladylike and stylish! This dress was made for you to wear it!

Can’t say no to a good investment piece especially if you can comfortably afford it. Like literally don’t see why not. Love the material. Is that suede?

Thanks Thuy! Yes, it is suede. I don’t know why, but I’m more into suede this fall than leather… 🙂 xx
You always have the prettiest feminine pieces, Grace! Glad you played copy cat and bought this one – because it looks AMAZING on you!
