Navy Trench.

This outfit is pretty much what I’ve been living in lately (except Monday… what was up with that crazy monsoon?!) and it’s pretty much my style recipe. Good bag, good coat, good shoes… plain old everything else. Who cares if I wore these jeans every single day this week? No one will remember as long as I top it off with a different coat the next day. 😉

Hope you guys are having a good week. Mine is flying by over here. I’ve been keeping on top of my workouts (more on that here), and just trying to get organized (tax time, yay!) On a more interesting note, on Monday I had the best facial at Bliss. The changing seasons have my skin all out of whack – my skin has been so dry and flaky but also kinda greasy? Yuck. The facial helped a lot. I’m working on a post about my favorite spas in the city but found that I have so much to say… it’s taking forever to write. Hopefully that will be up for you sometime in the next few weeks!

I’ve always been drawn to lighter colored coats but I really wanted to add a navy coat to my closet this Spring. This one is pretty perfect, and it has the cutest red piping that shows when you pop the collar up. In terms of styling it, this coat looks 1,000x cooler with the collar popped and the sleeves pushed up.
