My Favorite Summer Basics

I tend to shop for statement pieces and forget about the basics. This is my flaw as a shopper. I buy what I’m excited about. Colorful chaos and statement pieces!. Bright dresses and sunny tops with giant sleeves? Sign me up. Big jewelry, a rainbow striped sweater, a chartreuse sandal? Yes, please. But then, my wardrobe is left with holes. You can’t be all statement pieces, all the time. Well. You can (look at these ladies for proof), but it’s nice to have a balance.
