My Favorite Colors For Summer.

For summer and just always in life, lemon yellow and emerald green are two of my favorite colors to wear. But I’d never worn them together until more recently and I have to say, I’m loving this combination for summer. The colors pair really well together and the overall effect makes me so happy!

I hope you had a good weekend. I head back to the city from Sag Harbor around lunch time. If you’ve been following along on Instagram you know that this was 5 days packed with yoga, naps, and amazing, healthy food. It was amazing. The weather was perfect, I was so relaxed, and we worked so hard in yoga – I definitely refined a lot of my poses. There is a very good possibility that I’ve actually gained weight on this yoga retreat and you know what? If I did, it was 100% worth it. Everything we ate was so wonderfully fresh and delicious. It’s going to be a real struggle to feed myself after being so spoiled for a few days! 😉

  1. I’ve been really into mustard yellow lately, but haven’t made the transition into lemon yellow yet! Dunno why I haven’t thought of the shade. Maybe it’s because we rarely encounter pieces that are lemon yellow! It’s cute, and so perfect for summer! 🙂

I love these pieces – especially the green! Those striped trousers are amazing! Yellow is by far my worst color except for mustard – any advice? I would love to have some sunshine yellow pieces but they make me look so sickly.

Lots of green in my wardrobe but green and yellow are my college colors so I always feel geeky wearing them together – a little too rah-rah! But now I am inspired!

    • It sounds like we might have opposite coloring – mustard looks AWFUL on me – can’t do it, lemon is much better!!!

  8. I absolutely love green as an outfit colour, it is very lively and bold. But your yellow outfit is very cute too, especially the hoops earrings too. And the sunglasses.
