My Everyday Makeup Routine

Everyday-Beauty

A few of you have asked me to share my everyday beauty routine + favorite products, so here they are!  Nothing terribly fancy, but as I get older (and as much as I love testing new products to find new favorites) I find myself just sticking to a few easy products that really work.  The products in this post are my go-to’s… the ones I keep coming back to time and time again and use until there are only tiny crumbles left.

Base:  Bare Minerals READY SPF 20 Foundation in Fairly Light + Face Brush

Conceal:  Bare Minerals Stroke of Light Concealer in Yellow/Light (it’s meant for under eyes but I use it everywhere that needs a little help).

Bronze / Blush / Highlight:  Benefit Hoola Bronzer (have been using for nearly ten years!), and either Benefit Watt’s Up (a creamy golden highlighter) or Fine One One (blush + highlighter in a quick swipe)

Eyeliner:  Mirenesse in Amun (brown) or Atum (hazel) or NARS Kyoto

Eye Shadow:  NARS Alhambra Eye Duo // Mascara:  Benefit They’re Real

Lips:  Burts Bees (the grapefruit is a fave and I always wear this under my lipstick or gloss) // NARS Satin Pencils or Lipstick in Heat Wave

  1. Can never go wrong with Burt’s Bees. I also love Nars new satin pencils. They are so easy to apply and they are so pigmented making it easy to get a bold lip in seconds.
Thanks for sharing all these beauty products, it’s fun to see what other people are using.

  2. Benefit’s They’re Real is the only non drug store mascara that I’ve found to be worth the extra money. It’s AMAZING!

  8. Do you like the “Fine One One”? I’ve been thinking about getting it but I’ve heard that the formula is dry and cakey.

Oh my gosh, it is not cakey at all! Goes on very creamy and then I just blend it in. Maybe try it at a department store or Sephora first to make sure you get a good one?
