More Flares…

So I liked the look of flares so much that I got a bit carried away. I worked on an Instagram campaign with NYDJ (here) and kinda just had to wear the flares. Who knew they were so flattering? Now I’m sorta tempted to only buy flares for a bit. We’ll see. I paired ’em with classic stripes and a fun coat for a look that skirts the line between pimp and chic. Pimp chic. That’s what we’ll call this post.

I hope you guys had a great weekend. Mine was a fun one. Perhaps too fun. But sometimes too fun is a good thing. This morning I”m repenting with an early morning barre class and a long day of work. Balance is a good thing. I’m ready for a productive week… lots of meeting, events, and catch-up! I’m trying to be better about looking at the possibility that comes with Mondays (and the beginning of a new week) as opposed to dread. It’s those subtle changes in your attitude that (for me!) make all the difference.

NYDJ is becoming my secret spot for denim. The Farrah flare is my favorite right now… it’s really flattering and makes me feel so long and lean. If you order a pair, just be prepared – order two sizes smaller than your usual size.

I just got my first pair of flares since, I dunno, high school? I’m obsessed with how flattering they are on! Why did I wait so long?! I try to stick to that same way of thinking when it comes to Monday – so many possibilities! Here’s to a new week 🙂

I love the flares on you!!! They’re so good. Also definitely not opposed to buy jeans two sizes smaller than I’m used to 🙂

I agree with your attitude change! Recently, I wear my favorite outfit on Mondays. Like if I got a new dress and it may be too dressy for work, I saw whatever and wear it on Mondays because it makes it better.

I really never understood why skinny jeans took over as the default denim style. Flares and wide leg styles look SOOOOO good on just about everyone! The right flares make your legs look miles long and your butt…I mean, I hope you spent some time checking out your rear view 😉

This look is divine…I may need to recreate!

I def feel thinner in flares or boot leg. I am a 14 though. I don’t think skinnies are flattering on everyone and they are everywhere and peoples bits are hanging out! Not good whatever your size.
