We made it to the weekend! This was a short but jam-packed week for me. And to be honest, I am still feeling a bit jet lagged! I was originally planning on heading out to the Hamptons this weekend but decided to stay put in favor of catching up on work, sleep, and just unwinding a bit.
Last night was the goodbye party for one of my best best friends, who is moving to Charleston. I’m so sad to see her go. We are getting to a point where I have more close friends in Charleston than New York, which is kind of crazy. (I do still think about moving there all the time but am so happy here in Brooklyn). Other than that, I attended a fun dinner with Celebrity Cruises in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens (so beautiful) on Tuesday night and finally saw Wonder Woman on Wednesday. Have you seen it? Add it to your weekend plans if not!!!
Clothes! You know by now that I love a good mix and match set as you can separate the pieces and wear them on their own. This ensemble could very well be a romper, but I can wear the top with cut-offs, or pair the lace shorts with a slouchy sweater for a more relaxed vibe. And also, my sandals are sale and they are the most comfortable! I love a good ankle wrap sandal. The blush is pretty but they also come in green, black, and cognac. And this pair is just as cute – and an even better price… I love the cognac color, plus they come in a pretty blue shade. Happy weekend… whatever you’re up to, I hope it’s great!!

Love this look! Sometimes matching sets remind me of childhood outfits lol, but this one is totally chic and grownup! We’re going on a little getaway for part of the weekend, but will be back in the city for the 4th. I actually love how quiet it is here on holiday weekends! Hope you enjoy it!
