Most fashion bloggers get excited about events by major fashion brands (OK, so do I…) but I was so excited to be invited to M&J Trim’s recent event at their New York City flagship. I mean let’s be real… M&J is my personal heaven/candy store!
There were snacks, courtesy of Maison Prive…
And how gorgeous are these beautiful sashes!? M&J’s bridal salon is designed for the not-so-crafty… you can buy everything pre-made… sparkly sashes, fascinators, veils, clutches, the works!
Yummy cupcakes…
I personally loved the studded minaudiere, pictured below. More for a night out on the town than a wedding, but whatev!
The highlight of the night? Hanging out with blogging/crafting pal Jenni, and meeting Kirsten of Studs & Pearls (finally – we’ve been trading tweets and blog comments for a solid year, but never actually met!)

…And I did something I never do… what? OUTFIT POST! (I love outfit blogs… I just always think I look so goofy, posing oh-so-awkwardly in whatever it is that I wore.)
Patterson J. Kincaid Lace Tee (similar), Yummie Tummie Tank, J. Crew pom pom scarf (similar), Gap Skinny Jeans, YSL Patent leather tribute sandals (similar) Pretty hair via The Dry Bar, red lips c/o Maybelline Red Revolution!
