Mixed Prints.

I’ve been really into mixing and matching prints lately. As long as both prints are somewhat classic (a floral that isn’t overly busy, gingham, stripes), it’s actually pretty easy to do. Old Navy has so many cute separates right now. Besides the pieces I’m wearing, I also picked up this striped peplum (only $9!!! I bought a size small/tall and it fits perfectly), this peplum tank, and this button-back top (which matches the shorts I’m wearing. A bit of a bender, but there was a sale that day and I’m pretty sure the total was under $100.

Also, my army jacket. I got this last year and wear it all the time (it’s been on the blog here + here) but of course it’s sold out. So I tracked down several similar options for you, all under $200. There’s this one (with a fun army patch), this one that nips in at the waist, this thick cotton one, this simple but super classic one, and this one, which is probably my favorite as it just looks so soft and worn. A lightweight army jacket is such a great Spring/Summer staple. I find myself reaching for mine constantly… pairing it with jeans, dresses, matchy-matchy (or mix-matched sets), and so on + so forth.

Outfit Details: River Island Jacket (old, similar here + here) // Old Navy Tank (I’m wearing a small) // Old Navy Shorts (only $14! I’m wearing a 6) // Gucci Soho Leather Disco Bag //J.Crew Sandals (from last year but this pair is nearly identical) // Celine Sunglasses // Capwell Necklace

What a great look! I have similar pieces in my closet and may have to make my own recreation this weekend.

I absolutely love this look! I wear my own army jacket so frequently that the color is actually a little worn looking from so much sun exposure 🙁 Think I may have to invest in one of these!

Love this look! I would use those gingham shorts as a neutral – they are perfect!

This is such a cute casual look! The prints are great and I really love how the shorts seem so unfussy, even with the heels. So gooood! 🙂
