Mixed Prints - The Stripe
Eliza J Dress // Ann Taylor Bag // Franco Sarto Sandals // BaubleBar Necklace

Happy Memorial Day! I hope you’re out and about enjoying the sunshine… but wanted to have a post ready, just in case. My long weekend has been a lot of fun. Girls drinks Friday and Saturday (apologies for the tipsy snapchatting, yikes!) and a few workout classes. Last night I stayed in and cooked + watched Game of Thrones, and today I’m actually going to spend most of the day working (so behind from having too much fun lately!) and meet up with Jess + Hallie a little later for some rosé al fresco at The Boat Basin.

Mixed prints can be tricky to pull off, which is why this dress is so fantastic. It takes the hard part (figuring out proportion, pairing colors and textures) out… but looks as though you expertly paired the perfect little striped top with a floral midi skirt.

Whatever you’re up to today I hope it’s fab and involves at least a little sunshine. (And also: long weekends + the unofficial start to summer are both nice, but let’s be sure to also pause remember the men + women who have fought for our country.)

I made you a GIF. I look a little silly, but wanted to show you how the fabric moves… and the back of the dress, which I really love.

Happy Memorial Day & Wow! That dress looks great on you. I like how you mention that all the hard work of matching prints and proportions has already been done for you and is built into the dress. Seems like there are many options on the market mixing colors, embellishments, prints etc, which makes dressing a breeze- love this trend! I recently put together an outfit, inspired by another lovely fashion blogger, mixing stripes & florals. Here is the link : http://www.daisydisdain.com/ootd-kendi-everyday-inspired/
