Would you believe we took these photos in Williamsburg? Trent and I were wandering around (in 95 degree heat) looking for the perfect location to shoot this dress and voila… we stumbled upon this pretty little stoop. I want to live here! It’s just the most gorgeous little place. So naturally I sat down on the steps as if I live there. One can only dream…
This dress is a new favorite. I spotted it first on my friend Kat and had to have it, so I played copy-Kat, if you will. I really love all things Misa, actually. They have so many cute pieces (I love this navy dress… it may be next!) and they also do a pretty off the shoulder version of my dress. The brand runs pretty true to size. I’m usually between a small and a medium in dresses and am wearing a small. I’d typically order a medium but they were sold out, so I tried the small and it fits really well. I will say that it’s cut a bit low so it’s hard to wear a bra, but honestly, in this heat I have been skipping a bra when I can. The dress is tight enough up top to get away with it. Also, I love these earrings so, so much. I have them in red as well and cannot say enough good things about them. They’re super lightweight so they make a fun statement without weighing your earlobes down.

I do have those days, feeling like I could skip the bra. I think what’s great for that about this dress is that heavy pattern and bold colour masks the possible nip situation haha. You look great 🙂
