This could have been my Christmas card outfit. But alas, I was actually way ahead of the game this year and shot that ages ago (see how my cards turned out here, btw!) But I love the festive vibes of this outfit… especially because I’m doing one of my favorite things: mixing casual with fancy. A sequin skirt can be totally perfect for daytime when paired with simple, casual pieces. I got this one a few years ago, but I listed some similar options down below. If you don’t have a gold sequin skirt, I suggest taking the plunge. It’s scary how much I wear mine!
I also can’t stop wearing this BaubleBar necklace. It’s from the holiday collection and so versatile. I love that it’s a tiny bit longer than most of their collars… the length is really nice.
Shop the Post: J.Crew Chateau Parka (my absolute fave – comes in ten colors!) // Madewell Tee // BaubleBar Necklace // Q Mack Skirt (really old, similar here + here) // Express Tights // Saint Laurent Bag // Nordstrom Boots (on sale)

Sequins generally scare me but I have been considering them more this winter. They have to b e SUPER subtle though.
Love the festive vibes for this season 🙂 Your jacket really takes the attention of the skirt, IMO.

I just watched the Loreal video and it’s so cute! You are such a beautiful woman Grace and a good friend to all of us. I really believe you are strengthening our “girl power” as you are so supportive of other women and their blogs/ businesses. Thank you for all you do. Yes, we (women) are more than sequins, but we love our sparkles!
