When little Aslan passed away this past November, I wasn’t sure if I’d have room in my heart for another kitty. I kept making excuses and putting the idea of another one off… vet bills, space constraints, not liking the mess, travel… anything really. But then one thing led to another and I can’t resist a sweet face and now I am the proud mommy to this little guy. He’s not going to have his own instagram account like his cousin {yes, they actually are cousins!} but I did make him a hashtag… you can follow his adventures on my insta and using #TyrionPuff. He’s such a cutie. A little bit fiesty {I’m covered in scratches} and a little bit of a scaredy cat {as I write this, he is hiding from me!} But I love him all the same. That flat face… how could you not?
In sadder news, our family dog, Dawson passed away on Monday. I’ve been a bit of a wreck about it. He was fourteen and lived a long, good life, but he was so much more than just a dog. He was like another sibling. He loved us unconditionally and was the best pet – possibly ever. I know that he’s up in pet heaven and I hope he found Aslan while he was there. Keep him in your hearts.

What a cutie! And I love the name! ๐
I’m sorry to hear about your dog. I’ve had to put down my horse a few years ago and it was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do so far in my life. It’s always sad when a beloved pet dies, but actually having to decide that now’s the time is pretty hard.

awww such a mix of emotions, despite them being your pets! welcome cute little guy, and so sorry to hear about your dawson. i can’t begin to imagine…
Your kitten is super cute! I’m so sorry about your dog. Ours is really old and I think we’ll end up putting him down soon too and I’m super sad about it already.
I am so obsessed with him!
Aww so sorry to hear about your family dog. I didn’t grow up with pets but my husband and I adopted a boxer and he truly is a member of the family! What a sweet little face your kitten has!
So sorry to hear about Dawson. Your first posts on Instagram once you got home were always of you hugging him.
Admittedly, I am not much of a cat person but Tyrion is pretty cute!
I’m very sorry about Dawson. I recently lost my dog Lucky after 17 years so I know how that feels. I got her when I was 9. Anyways, I definitely believe in dog heaven and I am sure Dawson is there!
awww pets passing away are the worst thing. they become part of our families.
much love

what a very handsome cat!
I’ve owned pets my whole life and I must say that it’s a life changing experience to have them and to lose them. We all require different amounts of time to grieve our pets. I think it’s wonderful that you found another kitty that you could open your heart and home to again.
he is soo cute! im sorry about your family dog. our little jack russel annie passed away a few years ago and it was really hard for me. xo jillian – cornflake dreams
OH… sending many warm blessings + love to you.
That’s so sad to hear. Pets become family members. I totally relate to what you are feeling.
On another note… TYRION rocks with personality. He is gorgeous.
I just had to put my family’s ten year dog down last Tuesday… They really are part of your family and it’s always more devastating than you expect.
Your new kitty is such a cutie! And I’m so sorry to hear about your family dog. You’re right, they are so much more than pets, but a true member of the family.
So Sorry to hear about your family dog! When I lose I pet I always read “The Rainbow Bridge”. I cry EVERY time, but its so true.
“Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together…. “
i am so sorry about your pup. i hope tyrion brings you a lot of happiness ๐

Grace,
I am so sorry to hear about Dawson! I was an avid follower of Aslan and Tyrion is the cutest! I know how hard it is to loose a family pet they-they are more than family they are also your best friend! I will hold Dawson and Aslan in my heart and I can’t wait to see more of Tyrion.
Best wishes,
Amanda
I am so sorry to hear about Dawson. It is never easy and they really do become family! Tyrion is seriously too cute, I’m sure you can tell by the incessant double tapping on him Instas!
What a sweet little kitty! I can totally relate to not being sure you can open your heart to another pet, but I did the same thing a couple of years ago with my kitties. Glad you could give him a loving home!
SO precious! I’m so sorry for your family pet (and your last kitten), and I’m so glad you decided to adopt a new one to give a wonderful home ๐
Im so sorry to here about your family dog passing – they do become a part of the family so mourning them is only right and natural. Your new kitty looks like a cute – good luck with those scratches ๐
