A few months ago, while on vacation, I decided to try Novalash eyelash extensions. What I was thinking, I really don’t know. I’ve always been obsessed with long eyelashes and was insanely curious about how extensions would look. The process was painstakingly long and the fumes from the glue irritated my eyes. After all was said and done, my eyelashes looked pretty amazing, but my eyes were constantly watering and it felt like everything I did pulled on them… ouch!
Needless to say, most of them fell out within a week or two and I wouldn’t do it again. Maybe a few lashes on the outer corners, but my fascination with false lashes has faded.
Then, about two weeks ago, I picked up The Falsies, by Maybelline. My lashes look almost as long and thick as they did when I had the extensions. I’m totally hooked. It’s a combination of the spoon brush (amazing!) and an ultra-rich/thick formula that make for dramatic super-thick, super-long lashes… without spending two hours at the salon.
