I have a pretty great collection of jewelry – we’ll just call it an occupational hazard, shall we? But even though I work for a jewelry brand, my favorite pieces are the sentimental ones, the ones with special meaning – especially family pieces that have been handed down to me. The necklaces I’m wearing in today’s post are actually gold charms from my grandmother’s jewelry box. As a kid, my mom would let us sort through her jewelry and play dress-up with them, and slowly, with time, she’s passed down some of my favorite pieces. I’ve been wearing these charms with delicate chains – pairing old with new to give them new life.
I put together this outfit in as May is actually Gold Month (who knew!?) to highlight some of my favorite gold pieces – old and new. May is a time for Mother’s Day, graduation, bridal showers, anniversaries… and treating yourself to special gold pieces. I recently treated myself to this Ariel Gordon Signet ring.
