Long Shorts

If there’s one trend I’m excited about, it’s this whole longer shorts thing. I dipped my toe in the water with this pair from Staud, but also ordered this chartreuse pair. It’s going to feel really weird at first. It did for me, but now this length is starting to feel normal and short shorts are starting to feel, well . . . short! I’ve gotten used to this newer silhouette, and I love it. The extra coverage is frankly very nice, and now I’m wearing them for everything from errands and lounging at home to dinner and drinks.

See below for an assortment of favorite long shorts (across several different fabrics and price points), plus all the details on the three looks I styled with my Staud shorts.

PS – Carly wrote about longer denim shorts last year. She’s always ahead of the curve. This post may be helpful. The net takeaway is: when in doubt, size up!

And now for some styling!

Long shorts are stylish and they hide the saggy upper legs. Love them!
