Gingham Shorts.

I have so much to tell you about today.

First of all, I’ve been wearing my cutoffs way too much. It’s a problem. This outfit is pretty much my everyday uniform, and as I mentioned in another post I wore my Rag & Bone cutoffs so much that I had to buy a second pair. Alas, I started to feel like a bit of a slob so I ordered a few new pairs of shorts that didn’t have holes in them. I ended up sending every pair that I ordered back except for this gingham pair. Why is it so hard to find shorts that fit properly!? But these are great. They fit really well (I took my usual size) and I love the buttons at the hips. (They’re also 60% off right now!)

The next thing is this whole bandana trend. I’m not one to jump on very many trends, but I’m digging this one. Do I pull it off?

Lastly, Jackson Hyde. My friend Felicia was on vacation in Nicaragua and met the owners of the company, a young married couple. Felicia is one of those people who rarely gushes about products, so when she talks, you listen. She introduced me to them and I spent an hour on the phone with the founder, Genevieve. I fell in love with what they were doing (and their beautiful bags). They’re incredibly well made and the tote holds so much more than I thought it would. I also really love that it zips at the top… making it ideal for travel. I don’t understand why more totes don’t have a top zip! I really love supporting quality, up & coming makers in this space and these bags are just… divine.
