I haven’t been shopping as much or accepting as many gifted items as I have in the past. This isn’t a policy I have or really for any particular reason than being a little bit overwhelmed by all.of.the.things. I live in a pretty small Manhattan studio, and my closets were bursting with things I never wore. I have been selling items like crazy (I use + love ThredUp) and focusing more on the items I already have + love. I’ve spent years building up a wardrobe of classic investment pieces that will last forever (like this Helmut Lang blazer…) and I’ve just found myself wanting fewer better things… and closet space. I’ve also realized that if your closet is packed to the brim, getting dressed will always be hard.
Of course there are always exceptions. The first is these leggings. I am kind of obsessed with Spanx leggings (I’ve bought all my other pairs) so was genuinely stoked when the brand reached out to send me their new moto style. If you haven’t tried Spanx leggings, you must. Whether you wear an XS or an XL, you will love them. I don’t wear shapewear but I loooove these leggings. They’re always nice and long (cute bunching around the ankles) and the fabric is extra thick so they never get see-through.
Shop the Post: // Helmut Lang Blazer (budget friendly option here) // Madewell Tee (my favorite tee in the world, FYI) // Spanx Moto Leggings (c/o, also available here) // Rorin Fringe Bag (c/o) // Manolo Blahnik Black Suede Pumps (budget friendly option here)
PS – my hair is so short! OK not really… but I took a few inches off last week and added in some layers with Adam at Warren Tricomi.
And then there is this little fringe bag. This bag. I can’t handle how much I love it. It’s from a new-to-me line called Rorin. It’s one clutch, with dual compartments so that you can still stay organized. All styles are made in limited runs, and produced in New Orleans.
Necklaces (top to bottom): BaubleBar Hamsa Pendant //Dana Rebecca Lauren Joy Necklace // Samantha Wills Live in the Moment Bar Necklace // Samantha Wills Rose Quartz Crystal

Cute outfit! Are the leggings true to size or do they run small? I’ve never tried these but they really do seem thicker and nicer than others, so I’m thinking of ordering a pair.
Hi Litty, yes they are true to size!!!
