We made it to the weekend. I had a productive week over here and am excited for a little bit of downtime. Tonight I don’t have any plans which is my favorite sort of Friday… I’ll pour myself a glass of wine, put on my PJs, and cozy up with a good book. I’m so excited (nerd alert) because the third volume of my favorite YA Trilogy (the Half Bad series) came in the mail this week (it was literally just released) so I’m probably going to finish it tonight. I’m still also reading The Good Girl (I really like it so far, but I had to put it down to read Half Lost). After this I will read something intelligent (I like to alternate between the two and am trying to read more classics and business books).
This little dress was such a great find. I admit, I have a bit of a fringe dress obsession but I loved the cut of this one – it’s a lot more flattering than some of my other fringe dresses as the fringe is only at the bottom. Also, it just went on sale. The white one is only $47, and the black is $62. Not bad! I’m wearing a size medium. It’s a little bit loose in the top but otherwise fits perfectly. What’s funny is that I bought it and put it on and realized why it looked so familiar… my friend Jackie actually wore it to her wedding (she changed out of her more formal dress and put this fun one on for the reception. Here is a pic!). It’s a good dress.
Whatever you’re up to this weekend, I hope it’s great! Xo

I love this outfit on you, it’s extremely flattering. My plans for tonight are similar to yours, but I might watch series and then read something 🙂 They are definitely the best evenings, in pyjamas and in bed.
Oh wow!! This little black dress is magnificent!! LOVE the way you’ve styled this minimalistic and feminine outfit. 🙂

Great outfit! Such a fun and versatile dress. You mentioned some books that you’re reading in the post… I’d love to see an entire post on different books you’ve enjoyed (across YA and more “serious” genres). XO, Nicole
