How was your weekend? Yesterday I holed up and had an introvert day and it was glorious. I woke up around 9, laid on the couch with coffee and a book for a while (I’m reading this book right now and it is so creepy – I can’t tell if I love it or hate it but can’t put it down either way). I watched two movies that couldn’t be more different (Casablanca and Book Club), I went to yoga, and spent the later part of the day catching up on work and cleaning. It was just what I needed – a lot of relaxation and “me time,” and feeling like I’m a little caught up after a busy week.
I’m actually leaving for another trip tomorrow night! My yoga studio (and Six Travel) invited me to Sweden for a yoga retreat. I’m so excited. Sky Ting is the best part of my day and to be invited on this trip is such an honor. And it will be fun/a nice little detox after all of the events and parties from last week. Can not wait… but when I get back next week I’m planning on staying put for a while. There is no better place to be in Fall/during the holidays
About this outfit. First of all, pardon my frizzy ponytail. This humidity! I can’t. I will style my hair and feel so cute until I step outside. The wispy bits by my hairline love the humidity and instantly stand at attention. Oh well. Second, this combo is the best. My favorite t-shirt and the best silk culottes. These pants are one of my fav purchases for fall. Worn like this, they’re practically PJ’s and feel very casual; but with a pretty cami and higher heels they would be great for a date or party. (They’re a bit pricy so to get the look for under $100 I would recommend these, these, these, or these.)
Lastly, these heels. Love them. Marion Parke can do no wrong. So comfortable but so chic.
Outfit Details: Theory Wide Leg Pants // X Karla Tee (runs small; I’m usually a small or medium in most tees and got a large in this one) // Marion Parke Heels (c/o) // Poolside Bag Straw Tote (c/o) // Krewe Sunglasses

This is my kind of outfit! I’ve been loving the minimal, loose and comfy style as of late. Most fashion posts on my blog look like this! It’s so cute, I really like the neutral colours of your pants! 🙂

You do! These would be perfect.
I totally feel you on the frizz. I found this product from Living Proof this summer, and it was life changing! I can not recommend it enough https://www.livingproof.com/no-frizz/instant-de-frizzer/R127.html?cgid=shop-by-benefit-antifrizz#start=1. It works best with straighter styles because you need to brush it through after you spray it, or you hair looks a little oily.
Thank you for the suggestion! Love Living Proof.
Those heels!!! And frizzy hair – you know, it is a summer-best! I think it looks great with your outfit- the silky/glammy look with don’t-care-hair 🙂 Love it!
Aw thank you so much!
That retreat sounds AMAZING. Cannot wait to hear more about it!
Also LOVE anything that even slightly resembles PJs 😉
