Leather for Day

Hunter Jacket (on sale) // Theory Dress (old but love this or this faux version)

Zara Pouch (similar) // Sole Society Shoes

Today I’m over on Refinery, talking about how to make a leather dress work for daytime.  (A leather dress is one of my favorite  date night looks, but for the office/during the day, it can be a little much).  Adding a simple military jacket and chunky sandals makes it a bit more daytime appropriate.

Pop on over to see the full feature.

  3. Is it possible that you get more gorgeous by the minute? Seriously, whatever you are eating, I’ll take some of that! Love this look on you and how the sequin clutch adds a little bit of glam 🙂

  4. Pretty! I picked up a leather skirt from Piperlime, but I was sort of worried about wearing it in summer. Now I know that it’s totally a go!

  5. I want so badly to pull my leather skirt out this spring, but it’s already so hot in Tennessee! Hopefully it’ll cool off one night and I can bring it out of hiding, but until then I’ll just live vicariously through you! 🙂

  10. Fleur:

I was always interested in trying to wear a leather dress. I saw it on Jennifer Anniston and wondered if I could pull it off without looking like a (I would hate to say this…)hooker. lol You also pull it off so well so maybe I will try it, it’s just that I think that it will practically stick to my body in the humid heat I have, so will just have to wear one during fall/winter (we don’t even have fall as a season really…it’s just either hot or cold(ish).

  12. Umm, I need that leather dress right now! Although, it’s way too sticky here in FL and I’m pretty sure we’d have a Ross from Friends moment on our hands. You look beautiful Grace!
