Kelly’s Chic Under $100: Velvet Crush.

I am crushing on velvet hard this season, especially if it comes in a pretty jewel tone. I used to equate velvet with the holidays only, but have since expanded into wearing velvet nearly year-round. While these pieces may be holiday-party-ready for the most part, they also happen to be versatile enough to wear every day for fall (or even spring, in some cases!).

I’m trying to come up with an excuse to add this wrap dress to my cart, along with  these flats and this hat (I’ve had my eye on it for a year and counting!).

If there’s anything velvet that catches your eye that’s this affordable, I’d recommend snagging some! It can be tough to pick up later in the season as it does sell out (I already am lamenting the loss of a pair of sold-out, J.Crew velvet flats). And see Grace’s favorite velvet dress in action here. Neither one of us can get enough of this fabric right now.
