Can you believe it’s already Thanksgiving?! It still feels like the start of summer was just yesterday, but suddenly I’ve pulled out my puffer jacket and Thanksgiving pie recipes. Oof!
I work next to a Reformation (dangerous, I know), and popped in on a recent lunch break to try on a few Thanksgiving looks. I splurged on a long dress with a bow that I can use strategically to cover up any sign that I’ve overindulged on turkey & stuffing (I’m adding a button to cover up a bit!), and felt inspired to round up a bunch of affordable Thanksgiving outfit ideas for you to check out for your holiday plans.
Think comfy fabrics in dressy silhouettes, versatile styles, and plenty of jewel tones and velvet accessories. My favorite way to stay budget-friendly while holiday shopping is to ensure I have a plan to re-wear the look at least a few different ways after the event. Because I spent a little more than I’d planned to on my dress, I’m planning to wear it this week with a pair of velvet flats, and then later with a thin turtleneck underneath to repurpose it for work… this idea would also work perfectly with this cute Topshop jacquard style!
Don’t forget the cute & affordable accessories like this starry comb or festive tassel earrings, and you’ll be good to go! Whether you’re enjoying a Friendsgiving, hanging at home, or being welcomed as a guest to dinner, you’ll be ready to impress.
