There’s no time like like the present to start thinking about next season. While it’s still cold, it’s easy to incorporate pieces that add a dose of spring. Whether that’s by rotating in pastels, or by picking up light layers that you can wear now & later, thinking ahead will help you transition seamlessly from winter to spring.
Currently I’m wearing voluminous pants with a tight legging layer underneath, sweaters under blazers, and long socks under over-the-knee boots. It’s the only way to battle a frigid outdoors with an overheated indoors, while also only adding pieces to your wardrobe that have lasting power through to spring. I expect to throw those blazers over breezy dresses and pair those pants with a lighter t-shirt once temps surpass 60°F.
Until then, you’ll find me in some variant of the following outfit formula: cream sweater + checked jacket + trousers + booties + necklaces over my turtleneck. Peeling back some of those layers can’t come soon enough, but it does make for a good look!
Xx
Top: Checked Coat // Lavender Sweater // Light Blue Coat // BaubleBar Yellow Tassel Earrings // H&M Paperbag Trousers // Layered Necklaces // Topshop Cream Sweater // J.Crew Wallet // Nude Booties
Bottom: Minkpink Sherpa Bomber // Striped Sweater // H&M Pink Pumps // Camel Tie Waist Coat // Black Over The Knee Boots // H&M Checked Blazer // Textured Tote Bag
I love the lavender sweater you posted! It’d look lovely with the light blue coat next to it 🙂
