Lavender is just one of those colors that basically makes everyone look like a princess (in the best way possible, of course). For one, purple is the color associated with royalty and luxury, and lavender is especially feminine. Also, it’s just universally flattering. Take a look at the models above; There are a few different skin tones and they all look incredible.
I think what really got me started on the color was actually this Fig & Yarrow Moon Mist. I have trouble falling asleep at night and this lavender-infused mist has been such a nice addition to my night time routine (and it actually works), so I’ve been seeking out all things lavender (the scent or color).
Currently on my radar: this gorgeous jumpsuit from ASOS, a pretty lace dress that’s a dead ringer for a Self Portrait piece, and some Nike sneakers to inject the tiniest bit of color into my gym routine.
So, until next week, I’ll be scooping up this ruffled dress and pretending to be Kate Middleton.

I love lavender – it used to be one of my favourite colours growing up!

It’s the perfect alternative! xo
FYI–the suede mules at the bottom are Nine West–not Nina.
Oops – great catch! Fixed now 🙂
