Kelly’s Chic Under $100: Hostess Essentials.

Playing hostess is one of my favorite things. Having a bunch of friends over, pouring some wine or mixing up a signature cocktail… and most importantly, enjoying good company (over appetizers or dinner) is always the best feeling. Above are some of my favorite things to have on hand at any soirée… the best part? As usual, they’re all under $100!

When playing hostess I always like to wear a maxi dress and go barefoot. It sets the tone for the evening: not overly dressy or stuffy. I ensure there’s plenty of atmosphere with the aid of unscented candles (you don’t want the fragrance to overpower the food!). And lastly, I ensure there’s plenty of seating (with extra stools from Nate Berkus like these under $100, where can you go wrong??) and some after dinner games (like these cute playing cards!). A recipe for success!

Xx
