Kelly’s Chic Under $100: Beach Getaway.

I recently went to a hot yoga class with a friend where we sat about 12 inches from the mirror. In between doing sweaty upward dogs and chair poses, I couldn’t help but stare at my reflection in the mirror… only to realize that I was the palest one in the room. Probably related to that: my recent vitamin D deficiency. I need to get out of my office and onto a beach, STAT.

If you’re in the midst of daydreaming of sunshine and salty air like I am, these picks would be perfect for any beach getaway. Even if you won’t be getting to the beach any time soon, any of the above could turn 5th Ave into Montauk if you imagine hard enough. Try:

• This breezy pink dress, coral heels, pineapple drop earrings, and tortoiseshell cateye sunglasses for grabbing coconut water at Pressed Juicery and pretending you’re drinking it straight from a coconut.
• This romper, striped espadrilles, and a straw hat for tacos at Tacombi and imagining you’re really beachside in Cancun.
• A healthy dose of St. Tropez, this adorable Eberjey bikini, and this great straw tote for crashing the SoHo House pool (don’t pull a Samantha Jones, though).

The options are endless! Whether you’re lounging on a beach in Maui or proudly strutting down Bedford Ave in your sandals (legs slathered in Kopari), anything’s a beach if you try hard enough.

PS – Hot tip on that St. Tropez: It’s the best self tanner, but don’t forget to scrub down beforehand with a good coffee scrub beforehand. It’ll prevent streaks and make your skin SUPER soft. Use coconut oil to soften skin and maintain that healthy glow between applications.
