I know that white is technically not okay after Labor Day, but does anyone listen to that rule anymore? I bought this cozy sweatshirt at J.Crew a few weeks ago and have been layering over all of my summer dresses to make them more Fall appropriate. I love the long zippers up the sides. My photographer + friend Lydia liked this look a lot, saying it was a little bit grunge but I don’t know about that… am I rocking grunge?! Please say yes… I’ll feel so much cooler!

Not too grungy, feminine chic grunge if anything! The sweater is baggy & bulky which is a clear winner for fall. I love the little lace detailing of the dress as well. :] // itsCarmen.com ☼ ☯
No matter the style genre, I think this outfit is very cool! I love the scalloped edge on the skirt, and love the combo of knit sweater with lace.
