These are a few of my favorite things. Polka dots, bows, and a pretty glint of metallic shine. I suppose by my age I should probably have grown out of such “cute” pieces, but I can’t stop. There is really nothing better than a well placed bow… especially at the back of your ankle. These shoes = business in the front, and all of the cuteness in the back. They are truly the best party shoe (they also come in black, but I love a good red shoe). The bow isn’t too fussy and the stacked platform heel means you can stand (or dance!) in them all night long. I am a little bit obsessed with them, if you can’t tell.
To let my heels take center stage, I paired them with this simple polka dot dress + metallic clutch. I’d recommend topping off the look with a faux fur coat (might I recommend this one or this one?) and a good pair of opaque black tights. For the photos, I chose not to wear tights… but it’s getting cold!!!
As an aside… Kate Spade has the cutest heels right now…. all available on Zappos Luxury. Did you see this pair? Holy moly… feathers + glitter = basically my spirit shoe. (Can spirit shoes be a thing, like spirit animals?) I chose the red bow heels as they are more versatile (and I already own this pair of glitter bow heels which are pretty similar) but I can’t stop thinking about them. I’m also enamored by these sweet red ribbon sandals, these satin bow pumps (a dressier alternative to the ones I’m wearing), and these leopard pumps… I know, I know, I have a little bit of a shoe problem. The good thing is, compared to other designer shoes, Kate Spade’s shoes are pretty reasonably priced… and always very comfortable.
