I say this all the time but I feel SO lucky to get to do what I do for a living. Every (well, almost every!) morning I wake up and feel so thankful that I get to run this site full time.. I say this all the time but my favorite part of blogging is definitely the friendships and getting to work alongside some of my favorite people. Work doesn’t feel like work when you love what you do, especially when you get to do it alongside people you love.
Today, cooper & ella launched a collection of swim cover-ups in collaboration with Dream Hotels, available exclusively at Dream Downtown. You’ll be able to shop the cover-ups poolside at the Dream Beach or shop the pareos in-room. Take a peek at the full collection here! Annnd, they asked Krystal, Christine, and I to be the “faces” of the collection. So there are three prints… the Grace (mine is a bright pink, naturally!), the Krystal, and the Christine. So fun! And even better… cooper & ella has an Empower give-back initiative. As you may remember, 100cameras is an initiative very near to my heart (I’m on their advisory board). We got them involved and 10% of proceeds from the collection will be donated to their cause. 100cameras empowers kids worldwide to share their stories through photography and to create impact in their communities. What I love most about it is that it accomplishes three things all at once – fostering the arts, empowering children, and helping communities in need.
We had the best time shooting the lookbook for the collection… sipping Whispering Angel rosé in the sunshine, riding around on pool floats, and snacking on tacos at the Dream’s rooftop restaurant.
PS – During the shoot I got so many questions on Instagram stories about my earrings and my lipstick. The earrings are by Hart Studios in Charleston, and the lipstick is the new NARS orgasm lipstick, which has become a recent obsession. Krystal is wearing it too!
The kaftan is my favorite style of the collection… I have it in another pattern which I wore a few months ago here, while in Beverly Hills. It’s actually pretty affordable, priced at $88. (The tunic retails for $78 and the pareo is $55.)
Very hard at work… 😉
