Ruffle Midi Skirt.

How was your weekend? Mine was really nice. My mom was in town (she leaves this afternoon) and we had a lot of good quality time. We spent Saturday over at my sister’s place (they made burgers and hot dogs and we hung out in the sun in her backyard… so nice!) And last night I made Chrissy Teigan’s zucchini bolognese lasagna (her Cravings cookbook is one of my favorites!!). It turned out amazingly well and I can’t recommend making it enough. It’s the perfect guilty comfort dish that isn’t all that bad for you. Weekends with family are just the greatest… there’s no better feeling than starting the week feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to tackle a brand new week!

Outfit Details: Madewell Denim Jacket // Madewell Tee // J.Crew Skirt (25% off with code YESPLEASE) // Tory Burch Espadrilles (on sale) // Saint Laurent Small Monogram Crossbody Bag (also love this one, this pink tasseled one, and this glittery one!) // Julie Vos Earrings // Celine Sunglasses // Similar Cuff

On another note, I went to the most WONDERFUL magic show on Friday night! Oh my goodness. Like, my mind was blown. I’ve never seen anything like it and I’m pretty sure Steve Cohen is a mind reader but I also don’t want to sound like a crazy person. Truly, just so cool. If you are in New York or just visiting, I can’t recommend it enough – you’ll have the best time (and have your mind blown) and it’s held in the ultra-glamorous Lotte New York Palace which only adds to the experience. Dress up!

I’ve updated my New York City guide right this way… if you’re planning a trip, it’s packed with the best things to do (even the best lobster rolls… I’m kind of a connoisseur 😉 )

  10. What a fun skirt! Love this whole look. Sounds like you had such a fun time with your mom! It’s always nice to have family in town. I definitely look at the city differently when I’m with people who don’t live here.

I love this look so much! So very cute! Question on the Tory Burch espadrille… true to size or did you size down?
