I’ve always been a neutrals girl, but typically stick to black and shades of camel + ivory. Recently I’ve been adding a lot more gray to my wardrobe, and blush pink too. I kind of think blush pink is a neutral, don’t you? It goes with everything and is a great way to soften up your look a bit without being overtly girly. I bought this tote on Moda Operandi a year or so ago, and while it doesn’t always appear on the blog, it’s my everyday work bag. I stick my smaller bag inside it and lug my lunch, snacks, notebook, etc. I just love everything Mansur Gavriel makes. Also, these pink sunglasses: My friend Alex convinced me to try them… I never thought I could pull them off but they’re surprisingly wearable and go with everything I own.

I do have to say one thing about these leggings. They are the absolute best faux leather leggings I’ve ever bought. From Spanx of all places! I bought mine at Nordstrom and they sold out, but Saks still has a couple sizes and Luis via Roma has them available for pre-order, shipping 3/31. I wear mine so much that I ordered another pair. They’re ultra slimming (thanks, Spanx!) but also long, so they bunch around your ankles in a cute way. I highly recommend snapping up a pair before they’re gone again!

PS – Penelope (where we took these photos) is one of my favorite brunch spots! It’s a pain because they don’t take reservations… but the wait is completely worth it. I love the Penny Egg Sandwich.

Blush pink is definitely a neutral – now only if I would step outside of my neutral box and try something other than black and gray!

Ummm, I love this bag…I might have to get one! Really into the barely-blush leather totes right now, I’ve been bookmarking them for a while but I like wider bags, not deeper ones—this one looks like it hits the mark 🙂

That sandwich sounds so fun! I can only imagine the rest of the menu! What a pretty bag- and isn’t it funny how our everyday work bags never really make it onto our blogs, but they are the most frequently used bags?! Love the tote.

Hi Natalie! Oh my gosh thank you. What a nice comment. Whenever a comment starts out as, “I mean this in the most sincere way…” I get nervous that someone is about to say something terrible… but this made my day. Definitely a lot more relaxed. 🙂 Hope you are having a great weekend.

Grace I think you’ve convinced me to start being on the hunt for this bag! You definitely make it work as a neutral! Can I just ask you for sizing purposes how tall you are and which tote size you got? I know it comes in small and large. Also I know you have had the bag for a while but it looks super clean and new, which is amazing given the light color. Are you extra careful or does the leather not stain easily? I have a toddler always at my side so I have to be careful about getting light colored anything! Thanks so much! You look gorgeous as usual.

Hi Lan! I love it so much. I think I have the small tote but I’m not sure. And I am 5’7. I am not very careful with it but it doesn’t seem to get dirty… I think it’s just the leather! xx
