In the bag… NYFW Survival Kit

This NYFW, I’m laying really low.  It feels sacrilegious, but I’m not going to a single show – or either blogger conference.  While this makes me a little sad, there’s a lot going on at the “real job” (BaubleBar,) and I’m finally taking BlogShop this weekend… something I’m so excited about.  I’ve also been really, really sick for the past week.  I’ve realized I have to take a step back and take better care of myself, which means missing out on some of the fun.  That said, I still have a few fun things planned.  Hosting FNO with Nine West, and a few meet-ups here and there with friends.  In the meantime, see below for my ultimate survival kit.

magical case that charges your phone. // An amazing multi-tasking palette to conceal + brighten // The cheeriest iphone case.

dreamy statement necklace that will add an edge to any outfit.  // For blisters… the prettiest band-aids.

These towelettes smell incredible! // Supremely chic, supremely comfy… beautiful ballerinas. // The longest lasting gloss-stain hybrid.

…all packed into the dreamiest of Miu Miu totes!

sometimes all can’t always be done…but you have so much going on already that whatever you “miss out” on with NYFW, you will definitely make up for in other ways! I hope you’re over your illness!!!

Hi there! I do remember you. I actually subscribe to your site via reader and love your necklace projects.

That said, I think you may want to reevaluate how you are interacting and engaging with other bloggers. I mean this in the nicest way possible, but when I spend the time to put together a post, and someone comments on it – with a comment that is completely irrelevant to the content I’ve posted about, only trying to get me and/or my readers to visit there site, I am turned off and lose any desire to visit that person’s site.

I’m only telling you this because I think you have a lot of talent and potential… but engaging like this could end up hurting your blog a lot in the long run.

A friend of mine told me about that charging case!  magical indeed, I was fascinated when looking at it, the tech geek I am.  I’m hesitate to get it bc i’m sure I will want to scoop up the new iphone.

Might need that travel concealer and brightener though!

The perfect, timely post 🙂 Thanks for the tips! This is my very first fashion week and I’m totally stressing about what to bring! The only thing I’d add to this list is a little notebook to take notes on, assuming you plan to blog about the shows or street style at some point. Sometimes typing on an iphone isn’t good enough (in my opinion) and I still prefer good old fashioned pen and paper.
