Last summer, the boozy popsicles at The Butcher’s Daughter became a bit of a problem for me. So yummy, refreshing… and boozy! I set out to make my own at home and they just never came out as well as I would have liked to. I stuck to fresh fruit (serving them in hard lemonade!) and gave up on the idea of a boozy popsicle until more recently, when I received a press mailing about “Winesicles.” Brilliant.
So… how to make winesicles! Just pop some sparkling wine, strawberries (and edible flowers if you are feeling fancy) into your popsicle mold… freeze, and enjoy! The only tip or trick I have here is to slice the strawberries up super thin… they’ll freeze better and look prettier.
(I really need some cuter popsicle molds but that’s another story for another day – if you have any good – more chic – recommendations, let me know in the comments!)
I need to make these!
Hi! Those monogram coasters are awesome, where are they from, if you don’t mind me asking?
