Holiday Pampering.

SKINCARE_4

You guys.  We’ve talked a lot over here about feeling a little burnt out.  The holidays are just tough.  If every day in December could just have three or four more hours in it, then I think we’d be okay.  It would be enough to work twelve hours, get eight hours of sleep, and then have another seven or eight hours to get everything else done.  Who do we talk to about getting this done?

In the meantime, no matter how long a day I’ve had or how tired I am, I make it a point to pamper myself.  When I get home at night I immediately wash my face and do something nice for myself… a masque, a scrub, and lots of moisturizing.  It immediately relaxes me and helps me to hide the lack of sleep that has been going on in these parts.  (Lipstick is another must… I swear, no one sees the bags under your eyes when you add a bright lip!)

But anyway.  Today kicks off a long term partnership that I’m truly honored / so excited to be working on with Sisley Cosmetics.  Over the next few months I will be telling you about their newest launches, my favorite products, all sorts of stuff.  (And be sure to check back on Monday as I will have a pretty insane giveaway for you… it’s valued at $1000!)  Sisley (a French brand – so of course I already love them) makes some of the most incredible, luxurious skincare products that I’ve ever tried.  The line is pricy, but worth it as they use only the finest ingredients – and the products work incredibly well.

The blue tube above is the Express Flower Gel.  It’s designed for dehydrated, sagging, or tired-looking skin (um hi, exactly the way my skin looks after a month of crazy hours of work + too many holiday parties!)  After you cleanse your face, apply a thin layer of this.  Leave it on for three (yes, seriously only three!) minutes and then tissue off.  It regenerates skin and hydrates it making you instantly look alive and less stressed… with smoother features and more even skin.  I have been using this a few times a week and am totally hooked.

And the green tube above is the Eye Contour Mask.  This stuff is so good.  It’s specifically designed for fragile skin (the skin under your eyes is very, very delicate.)  In ten minutes it hydrates and (most importantly) reduces the sign of fatigue.  Goodbye puffiness, fine lines, and tired eyes.  Is it bad that I’ve been putting this on every single night while I answer emails?  You only need a little bit so the tube lasts a long time.

This body cream is hands down, the most luxurious thing I’ve ever put on my skin.  It is velvety, smells amazing, and (not kidding) makes you look as if you made it to Core Fusion when in fact you actually sat on the couch all night.

Last but not least, two more favorite products.

The Floral Spray Mist (which I’m holding above) is incredibly luxurious.  I spray it on my face throughout the day, really anytime I want a little boost of refreshment.    You can also use it in the evenings to take off your makeup.

The Moisturizer with Cucumber (pictured in the top photo, it’s the little jar) is my new go-to day cream.  It hydrates without being greasy (my skin gets pretty dry in the winter but also breaks out) and leaves your skin looking refreshed and radiant.

Like I said, come back on Monday… I have something fun planned for you… just in time for the holidays.  In the meantime, I can’t wait to share Sisley’s upcoming launches with you.  They have some seriously incredible things up their sleeve… especially for those of us in our twenties + thirties.  But I can’t say anymore… for now.

Also pictured in this post:  Paris versus New York Book // Fish’s Eddy Burlesque Matches // Blue Necklace // gifted Shark Tooth Necklace (on me) // Old Navy Sweater (on me – it is the coziest!) // Emerson Fry Leggings (on me, these are similar:) // Sisley Lipstick (coming in March) // Anthropologie Coasters

I love Sisley products but are very expensive, most of in my country. Express Flower Gel is a dream, the texture, the smell… one of the best beauty products I’ve ever used. I’ve never bought or tried a Sisley product I didn’t like, they’re so good. And the makeup, too, is great.
    Lucky you, Grace!

You look amazing!! Though I definitely understand the need for a few more hours in the day! I’m so horrible about taking care of my skin in the winter, so I’ll definitely be checking out these products!

Definitely have to try the Eye Contour Mask in 2014. Way too much work and not enough sleep happened in 2013 haha.
