Hello Yellow!

Yellow is one of my favorite colors because it’s an instant mood boost! I have little yellow accents all over my home (this tissue box cover from Cabana is a personal favorite), and I love using yellow to add a bright POP. (On that note of pops—how fun is this vase from Anthropologie? Also, this candle!) In my wardrobe, I’ve always favored daffodil and dandelion hues (this dress from Natalie Simkins’ Dillard’s collection is the happiest!), but butter yellow is also having a big moment.

A recent addition is this Guest in Residence cardigan (I love their cashmere; it’s insanely soft). It’s cute with jeans or worn over the shoulders (you’ll see it makes many appearances on this page). The other thing I recently bought and love is this Alemáis dress. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up so that I can finally wear it!

Anyway, I absolutely love yellow, and there are so many ways to incorporate it into your life. You can go bright or buttery. You can go big or just do an earring or something at home. Either way, I find it to be such a great mood elevator!
