Today, Sarah from Pencil Skirts and Lattes is taking over on S&S. Sarah is a new blogging friend… I look back at her archives and can’t believe she’s only been doing it since June… she seems like an old pro! Like me, Sarah just turned 30. She’s become one of my favorite people to tweet with. We share a love for Parker dresses, cozy knits… and pumpkin spice lattes. I must confide – I have perpetual photo envy – hers are never anything but stunning. Alright, enough out of me, meet Sarah! (By the way… today we are in Rome!)
Hi lovely S&S readers!! I’m Sarah from Pencil Skirts & Lattes, and I’m guest posting for Grace while she is in Europe (jealous!!!). I wanted to be sure to focus on sequins or stripes for this post, as I wear them both quite often…and this look seemed perfect for the occasion. I moved recently, and as much as I LOVE to get all dressed up… some days (especially post-move days) just require a more casual look. For a chili cook off last weekend, I chose to wear a comfy-casual-but-still-chic look that is also quite a combination of various bargain finds of mine!
I absolutely LOVE a nautical striped top – it is one of the staples I believe every woman needs in her wardrobe. With an unexpected pop of color in a fabulous statement necklace and a pair of perfectly distressed comfy jeans, I was ready for a beautiful fall Saturday chili cook off!
