Grunge.

JEANS_4

I wore this to work the other day and my coworker told me she couldn’t take me seriously while wearing flannel.  I got a good laugh out of that as I’m still not entirely sure I can pull of flannel… but to be honest, this shirt is one of those pieces I just keep reaching for again and again.  It’s just so comfortable!  I’ve been wearing it on its own with jeans or leather leggings, and also under a  slim cut sweater.  I love that this one is cut long and lean… a more feminine take on the grungy classic.

Hope you guys had a good weekend – I had a little fun (went to Taste of Gramercy with some friends) but for the most part just spent the weekend playing catch-up and getting ahead on work stuff…  so excited for vacation, in just five days… not that I’m counting or anything!

  17. I love it! I ordered a plaid shirt recently that turned out to be flannel-and I was pretty happy about it when I realized. It’s just so soft. Looks great with skinny jeans, and a good layering piece as you pointed out.
