Grandpa Blazers for Fall.

If there is only one thing you are going to add to your closet this Fall, I would suggest be a slightly oversized plaid blazer (aka a grandpa blazer as I like to call them), preferably this one. It’s pretty much the best way ever to dress up jeans and a tee. Or layer over a cute slip dress, or an all black ensemble, an all white ensemble, or really just anything. It’s the perfect way to add a pop of color/interest to an otherwise plain or boring outfit! A few more grandpa blazers that I’m loving can be found here, here, here (40% off!), here. Also, a cute plus size option here! When choosing a blazer you definitely want a longer silhouette. It’s baggy and a little boxy, but the length adds a surprisingly slimming effect!

Outfit Details: Ganni Blazer (love the powder blue version too) // Tibi Camisole (also here!) // Re/Done Jeans // Manolo Blahnik Heels // Vintage Chanel Purse  // Krewe Sunglasses // Rachel Comey Earrings

  2. That’s a cool name for an oversized blazer! I’ve never thought of that. Lol you look great, by the way! I love how you styled the grandpa blazer and will definitely try and get myself one!

  3. I love the pattern and color of that blazer, it’s so pretty and more interesting than you basic black or navy. I’m always cold, so a blazer is the perfect solution, and way to switch it up instead of my usual cardigan.

  4. SO excited about this little trend. I fell in love with one from Kate Spade, but it’s not in my price range at the moment (I want to splurge on it so so bad haha), but this one you linked from Madewell is pretty damn close to it and much more affordable. I hope I can pull it off as well as you do!

    • The Madewell one is SO good. I am thinking about getting that one as well… they’re different enough, right!?

  7. LOOOVE this look on you Grace (I am similarly obsessed with Ganni and now want this blazer so badly). I have a vintage Ralph Lauren blazer that is actually a man’s blazer (I like how it’s cut more straight rather than really curved like women’s blazers always were back in the day) and probably two sizes to big for me, but I love how it looks with blue jeans and heels or trainers or over a little white dress for autumn – I pull out that uniform every single September and don’t think I’ll ever be able to part with it!
