Monochromatic.

Grana Chinese Silk Pants + Silk/Cashmere Tee. Monochromatic Dressing, Navy Blue - Grace Atwood, The Stripe
top // pants // bag // cuff // heels

When I am going out and want to look pulled together, I almost always reach for a dress, but as you know I have been trying to wear more separates! A fun idea for an evening out (or even just a day of meetings) is to do a monochromatic ensemble… pants + a slouchy top. What I love about this top is that it’s a sweater/t-shirt hybrid. It’s lightweight and slouchy… but it’s made from silk + cashmere so it’s more substantial and also pretty warm! These Chinese silk pants are great, too. You may remember this post where I wore a pastel version of them – we talked about mixing pastels! The resulting look is elegant but still very comfortable – and perfect for the cooler weather we’ve been having.

To keep the look feeling dressy, I added lots of gold jewelry and my favorite stacked heels.

PS – through the end of the month, take 10% off my shirt + pants (or anything at Grana!) and get free worldwide shipping with code GRACExGRANA.

Outfit Details: Grana Top // Grana Pants (I recommend sizing up as they are cut a bit narrow through the hips)// Vintage Monet Necklace (c/o Sweet & Spark) // Vintage Chanel Purse // Jimmy Choo Pumps // Julie Vos Cuff // Buddha Girl Bangles

Really love this outfit! That’s my favorite style of pant – I have a similar pair but they’re elasticized around the ankle – I like how yours just hang. And I really like how you styled them.

Great to see you yesterday – can’t wait to see what you make over 🙂

Your skin and hair have been on point lately. You look great in these separates 🙂 I kind of dig that you’re challenging yourself to wear more of them.

  16. I’m a sucker for monochromatic looks. I typically like to wear all black (mostly because I like to wear dramatic makeup, lol!). I’m really into navy blue right now! Jessika / beautybyjessika.com

    • graceatwood says 10.23.16

Thank you Jessika! I love black too! I find wearing navy is just as flattering, but a fun way to change things up just a little bit. 🙂

  17. Johanna M. says 10.22.16
