When I am going out and want to look pulled together, I almost always reach for a dress, but as you know I have been trying to wear more separates! A fun idea for an evening out (or even just a day of meetings) is to do a monochromatic ensemble… pants + a slouchy top. What I love about thisย top is that it’s a sweater/t-shirt hybrid. It’s lightweight and slouchy… but it’s made from silk + cashmere so it’s more substantial and also pretty warm! These Chinese silkย pants are great, too. You may remember this post where I wore a pastel version of them – we talked about mixing pastels! The resulting look is elegant but still very comfortable – and perfect for the cooler weather we’ve been having.
To keep the look feeling dressy, I added lots of gold jewelry and my favorite stacked heels.
PS – through the end of the month, take 10% off my shirt + pants (or anything at Grana!) and get free worldwide shipping with code GRACExGRANA.

Really love this outfit! That’s my favorite style of pant – I have a similar pair but they’re elasticized around the ankle – I like how yours just hang. And I really like how you styled them.
Great to see you yesterday – can’t wait to see what you make over ๐
It was great to see you, too! I am so excited to get crafty!!!
Hope you had a great weekend lady. xo

Your skin and hair have been on point lately. You look great in these separates ๐ I kind of dig that you’re challenging yourself to wear more of them.

Thanks Lauren!! It really just is so comfy. Almost like PJs but still polished ๐
Love this outfit on you. The darker shades really work. It makes your skin glow and your eyes bright. Might have to grab a pair of those pants myself.
What a sweet comment, Cy! You should def try the pants -they are so comfy + cute! xo
love your look today!! xox
Aw, thanks Mom! xoxoxo
I’m a sucker for monochromatic looks. I typically like to wear all black (mostly because I like to wear dramatic makeup, lol!). I’m really into navy blue right now! Jessika / beautybyjessika.com
Thank you Jessika! I love black too! I find wearing navy is just as flattering, but a fun way to change things up just a little bit. ๐
I love this outfit, and Grana (I bought the shirts from your last post!). What size is your shirt? I might have to copy this look too ๐
Hi Johanna, I’m wearing a medium! ๐
