Grace’s Favorites: February

As you know by now, I’m a total and complete beauty product junkie.  I’m constantly trying everything – from the samples I receive in my Birchbox, to the products I receive for post consideration, to discoveries from friends, and random (highly dangerous!) Sephora excursions.  Here are a few of my favorite products from this February…  the things you simply need to try!

Bloom Black Ties:  I really don’t know why someone didn’t think of this sooner.  I start my day relaxed, coffee in hand, with my hair down.  By the end of it, I’m usually frazzled – hair in ponytail.  Now, I can at least forgo the ugly hair tie around my wrist… people assume I have a pretty new bracelet on until I take it off to put up the hair.

Andalou Naturals Night Cream:  I’ve been trying to slowly integrate more and more green beauty products into my routine, and Andalou’s products are amongst my favorites.  They’re free of all the nasties, bur still manage to deliver great results.  I particularly love the night cream – it’s great for skin that errs on the dry & sensitive side like mine does.  It’s rich and creamy, smells amazing, and when I wake up, my skin doesn’t look nearly as tired as I feel!  You won’t find a better night cream at this price point.

Benefit Instant Brow Pencil: I have a love/hate affair with my eyebrows.  This pencil makes me look like me, but a little bit better.  No one can put their finger on exactly what I’ve done differently, but I know.  I apply just the smallest amount throughout my brows (focusing on the arch,) blending with the brush, and I immediately look more polished.

Dr. Dennis Gross Vitamin D Serum – You already know how much I love serums + face oils. This is a good one.  Since I make an effort to stay out of the sun (and since it’s winter,) I also love that it helps combat Vitamin D deficiency… resulting in radiant, glowy skin.  It’s a must for winter skin woes!

HANA Titanium Flat IronMisikko sent me this and I was delighted to try it.  I hadn’t bought a new flat iron since college…. it was time for a serious upgrade.  Misikko sells the best flat irons, and this one leaves my hair silky, smooth, and pin-straight. Seriously, pin-straight, as if I had naturally straight hair.  I don’t flat iron my hair very often, but I might have to change that, thanks to this.

Disclosure:  Editorial Samples were provided; but all opinions are my own.  For better or for worse, it’s my job to try as many products as I possibly can… I only write about the good ones!
