These lists are always very random but this month’s list somehow turned out to be a little bit French. A book about Paris, pieces from Sézane and Maje… I guess what’s influencing that is that the biggest piece of news I have for you is that French brand Sézane has opened up their first US store, here in New York – in Soho! HOORAY! I attended the opening last week and it’s everything. You’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into your ultra chic friend’s apartment… you won’t want to leave! Read on to learn more about why I love each of these things… or click the graphic to shop! Enjoy! xo
ONE // Shhhowercap. Maybe I am crazy to feature a “luxury shower cap,” which sure, at first blush, seems like something totally unnecessary. But as someone who has a lot of thick hair and showers at least once a day (but only washes her hair a couple times a week), this “luxury item” has proven to be a lifesaver. It doesn’t leak, it holds all my hair, AND it’s really cute too… like a turban, and it comes in a bunch of cute colors and patterns! Fellow blowout junkies, be prepared to be obsessed with yours.
TWO // The New Paris. My friend Lindsey (an American living in Paris, who knows the city super well inside + out) wrote this and it’s amazing. Lindsey is an incredible writer – who also happens to have impeccable taste, especially when it comes to food. Consider this book an insider’s guide to Paris. It’s beautifully + thoughtfully written, with images (food porn) galore… you need this book – whether to daydream about Paris from your coffee table, or to plan an actual trip.
THREE // Loeffler Randall Nicky Sandals. Oh my god you guys. I need another fluffy pair of shoes like a hole in the head, but I don’t care… here we go again. I bought a very similar pair last year (with multi-color pom poms, scene in this outfit), but had to have the pink ones this year. The “Nicky” is the little sister of the “Nicolette.” It’s got a lower, chunkier heel, making it even more comfortable than the original.
FOUR // J.Crew Tonal Circlet Earrings. I am loving J.Crew’s new earrings collection. These also come in a blue version, and solid white. Love. They’re super lightweight too.
FIVE // Sézane Gaby Bag. This tote is so simple, so chic, so luxurious… it’s really just everything! I saw it at the store opening and didn’t want to put it down. It’s also available in black leather and a beautiful neutral suede, but I like the natural leather best.
SIX // Maje Cold Shoulder Dress. This LBD is one of the most flattering things in my closet. It’s comfy, flattering, and chic – all at once. I wore it to the first night of fashion week festivities and got so, so many compliments. If you’re looking for the perfect LBD, this is definitely it!
SEVEN // Ralph Lauren Woman. Fragrance is such a personal thing so I don’t speak to it very much over here (for the record, my go-to is Le Labo Santal 33…) but I really, really like Ralph Lauren’s new fragrance, Woman. It smells like Tuberose… something the boss would wear. If you’re at Macy’s/Nordstrom/etc, definitely stop by the fragrance counter to smell it!
EIGHT // Lively Underwear. I spoke at a conference and the woman who spoke before me is one of the brand’s founders. She was talking about their loyal client base so I checked them out when I got home. I was particularly intrigued by “the busty bralette,” which is a bralette for larger chests. I ordered four different bralettes (busty and non, as I’m sorta on the cusp) and LOVE them. So comfortable, supportive, but in fabrics that are pretty and sometimes even sexy. I’m a convert!
I really like the format of your posts. Really fun and easy to read! Especially liking the Sézane Gaby Bag, can see why you noted it as a must-have!

Thanks Charmaine! That makes me really happy to hear as they take a bit of work to put together!
These are some of my favorite posts! So excited for the Sezane opening, definitely visiting next time I am in NYC. Also, I had never heard of Lively – after checking them out I think I definitely need to place an order. Thanks for sharing!

so so glad! I love putting them together!
Is the bralette more for home or does it have enough coverage to wear out? Thanks! xoxo
honestly, depends on what you are looking for! If you’re wearing under a sweater, i think it’s fine for out! I typically choose “pretty” over “coverage” though when choosing a bra, and I don’t usually wear a bra at home… ha ha!
Your friend’s book looks lovely. Can’t wait to read it!

YAY! So glad you like these. 🙂 xo
I started using lively a few months ago and haven’t gone anywhere else for underwear since. SO comfy!!!
So glad you agree! It’s crazy comfy!! xx
I use to wear shower caps all the time, but since I’ve had my helix pierced and I’m waiting for it to heal I’ve had to go without, but when I’m wearing them again I’m going to suss out that marble one! Shower caps can be so daggy sometimes so I love they’ve made something stylish.

I know! I feel like you could almost wear this one as a hat!!!
I ordered two of the Lively busty bralettes, so excited. I don’t wear a bra at home either, usually a tank with a “shelf bra” built in if anything. I read recently it’s actually good not to wear a bra all the time and it’s a myth that bras keep you from sagging. Apparently we tend to stand straighter ( sans bra) and that works the pec muscles.Hurray!
Oh good! Keep me posted on how you like them! xx
i know i’m biased, but i LOVE the new RL woman fragrance too and i’m happy to hear you are. the bottle is so gorge too <3
It’s so sophisticated and gorgeous!!!
