Gifts that Give.

Oh, the holidays. Can you believe they’re just about here? This is the time of year where I go a little bit crazy. Work gets crazy busy, I agonize over what to wear to holiday parties, I’m up all night working on my blog, all the while stressing out about what to get my friends and family. And all of that’s totally fine and completely normal, but it misses the point of the true holiday spirit — giving back + creating joy (for not just our loved ones, but also those less fortunate than us.)

You might have seen that TOMS and Target have teamed up on an exclusive collection, available 11/16 and I really love the mission behind the collection as it focuses on just that – giving to our loved ones but also those in need. Just like TOMS’ one for one model, with each gift purchased, a gift will be made to a person in need. For every gift purchased, the American and Canadian Red Cross will donate one blanket and Feeding America + Food Banks Canada will donate one week of meals. And for every pair of shoes purchased, TOMS will donate one pair of shoes.

And besides the charity element, everything is really cute (and nothing is over $50.) My personal favorites are the poncho above for my mother + sisters (and maybe for me, too…) and also the blankets (so cozy) and hoodies + denim shirt for men.
