Gift Guide: The Foodie.

gift-guide-2014-foodie

Oh, the foodie. Or perhaps today’s gift guide would have been better labeled, “the Chef.” I have a lot of chefs in my family. My dad is a chef by trade; but my mother, sisters, and brothers-in-law are all really, really into cooking + food. The dream item on this list would be Nespresso’s new Vertuoline machine (I have it and it’s changed my life… espresso + homemade almond milk for me, every morning.) As I do not have an unlimited gifting budget this holiday, I can’t afford to get one for everyone on my list but they will be getting my other favorite gadget – the spiralizer, which lets you turn zucchini + other veggis into spiral-esque pasta. Other notables: my favorite brand of iced coffee (Grady’s) started making these pods (so you can make it at home), these chocolate covered pretzels (but I always love all of Neiman’s boxed treats… when you don’t know what to bring, anything from there will do!) and these really beautiful measuring cups. And truffle honey! You can never go wrong with truffle honey as a gift.

Love seeing our friends Royal Rose included in this list – their syrups are fantastic! We love them all, but our favorite might be the Saffron Syrup – it makes for a great milkshake!
