    Hi Grace,
It’s really hard/impossible to read this in a blog reader. The font is super tiny. Is there anything that can be done to fix that? Thanks!

      Hi Michelle,
I’m really sorry to hear that! I will chat with my developers.
Is it that much work to click over to the actual blog from your reader? I only ask as we have spent countless hours and energy perfecting this template to make it extra special!

Also – can I ask which reader you are using? Is it something like Feedly or Bloglovin?

        Hi Grace,
I am using Feedly. It’s not a lot of work to click over, I just prefer to use the reader for blogs as the text is usually more readable that way.

Okay, thanks for letting me know! These were built to accommodate a wider single page column so in Feedly they will shrink down. I’m sorry that it’s harder to read! I hope you’ll still click through to the blog to read… in the meantime, this format only applies to my gift guides, not the rest of my content.

It’s such a simple thing, but I really love your idea of gifting a beautiful bottle opener along with a 6-pack or nice bottle of wine. Last year, I gave Joe a new bottle opener as a stocking stuffer — it was a really heavy, sculptural looking one that looks pretty when we leave it out on the counter. Anyway, I didn’t think much of it at the time, but it’s amazing how much having a small, beautifully designed thing like that can make you happy when you’re using it throughout the week! Like, a million times better than opening bottles with whatever free, cheap opener we were using from our college days.

Also – this gift guide came out so beautifully! LOVE it.

Thank you Victoria! I totally agree. It’s those little touches, everyday items that feel a little more luxurious that for me, make a great gift!

Aw thank you Cory!!! They are a lot of work (and also my favorite to put together) so I’m so glad you enjoy them. And those knives are the BEST!!!

random but since you love Martha Stewart (who doesn’t) it’s amusing that Bedford Cheese Shop is your fave, since Martha lives in Bedford, NY.

Don’t know why the negativity! Instead of me spending 50+ hours in a black hole in the internet trying to find the perfect gift for all of the family members, friends, hosts, etc, someone else does the hard work for me and then I can just shop directly from the gift guides. It’s the most awesome thing ever. Thanks Grace for all your hard work, your guides are always top notch.

haha thank you. I know gift guides are annoying to some and they’re actually a huge undertaking and take a LOT of work to make in photoshop!

For both of those reasons I cut gift guides down to 8 this year (vs. 16 last year). Know that I work really hard at these to make sure they’re relevant and interesting to you guys and not just a dump of affiliate links.

you’re so sweet to stick up for me Sara. The reality is that not everyone’s going to like everything but my analytics tell me that you guys still like the gift guides so I’m going to keep doing them – just less than last year!

        XOXO

I love the gift guides! It always fun too see what you will pick. Real Simple mag always does a good one too and of course it’s always fun to see Oprah’s picks! I can tell it’s a favorite for you, yours are always so fun! Don’t stop! 🙂 It would be really fun if you did a DIY one. I often make gifts for people, but try hard to think of things that aren’t too grandma or kitschy.

Seeing how cheese-heavy this gift guide is, I felt the need to show you this parmesan cheese ornament from Anthro that made me LOL earlier today. https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/parmesan-glass-ornament?category=holiday-home-ornaments-decor&color=000
