Gift Guide: Coffee Table Toppers

When in doubt, I love giving the gift of a good book.  It’s a somewhat easy, somewhat (most of the time) affordable gift… and a great way to show the receiver that you truly know her, and happen to think that she’s both smart and sytlish.  (I mean… you might not be able to afford to give her a Fendi Baguette, so why not give her the book!)  Here are a few of my favorites.

Grace:  A Memoir (about halfway through and can’t put it down.) // American Fashion Menswear // The Trench Book (on my personal wish list) // Fendi Baguette // Chanel Book Set // Paris vs. New York // Diane:  A Signature Life // American Beauty // Fashion and Art Collusion // Alexander McQueen Evolution

Previous Gift Guides:  Hostess // Green Girl // Beauty Addict // Mr. & Mrs. // Sparkle-holic // Personalized Presents // Little Luxuries // The Jet Setter // My Wish List

This is such a great collection of coffee table books! I’m slightly obsessed with books and I have piles of them all over my apartment. Grace: A Memoir is the next one on my wishlist. And I’m thinking of giving it to my mom for Christmas too. I want to get Diane: A Signature Life too. She’s one of my ultimate style icons.

I just love coffee table books! Particularly love Taschen ones. On my list are apart from the lovely suggestions above: “Mario Testino”, “The Beatles Unseen Archives” and “London” by Taschen. From the other publishers I’d love to own or give “Kate Moss” by Fabien Baron; “Dressing the Man” by Alan Flusser or “Power Platon” by David Remnick (for the politics/history enthusiasts). For people with a slightly smaller budget (like myself) and a love for pretty “etsy artists” I like to give either “My Ideal Bookshelf” by Thessaly La Force or “Missed Connections” by Sophie Blackall.
Me – obsessed with coffee table books?! No idea where you get that from!

I would love to receive these books! I adore coffee table books, but I just never splurge on them for myself (for some reason I don’t seem to have that issue when jewelry is involved). So, yeah. I would adore each one! Great guide, Grace. xo
