I sometimes think that as time goes on I’m becoming more and more averse to color. (It’s probably a factor of living in New York… slowly but surely my wardrobe is becoming more and more neutral.) But then I’ll stumble across a great outfit like this one where she’s wearing a bold color but in such a subtle way and totally rethink my stance on color. Her look is an easy one to recreate (with pieces you probably already own… but just in case, I’ve tracked each key item down, in a variety of price points.)
- Classic Trench (high // medium // low + low)
- Skinny Ankle Jeans (high // low)
- Green Blouse (high // medium // low)

LOVE the High/Medium/Low options!
That emerald blouse is stunning–I’m obsessed with the color this season!
I love this casual chic look! The challenge for me is getting a pullover that hangs more like a boyfriend sweater without being too big.
Ooo I love the idea of layering with an emerald blouse!

Love this idea! For being the color of the year I feel like it hasn’t been such a major focus so I say its time we bring it back!
I don’t even usually like peplum (on me), but I adore that green blouse!
I’m definitely a neutral girl as well (with the exception of my beloved navy) but I love how you incorporated emerald into this look Grace! Great job recreating the original outfit.
